Dr. Christine Peters is Senior Lecturer in Endodontics at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry. Dr. Peters received her degree in dentistry from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and held a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry. 

She worked as Assistant Professor in the division of Endodontics at University of Zurich, Dental School, where she completed her postgraduate endodontic training. Dr Peters accepted a position at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and as Clinical Professor of Endodontology. Since 2020.  Dr Peters works part time in specialist practice and as senior lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry.

Dr Peters currently teaches and lectures in the undergraduate and postgraduate endodontic field, provides continuing education courses and treats patients in private practice as endodontic specialist. Her research includes dental materials testing in the field of endodontics and endodontic surgery, radiological treatment outcomes and clinical studies on treatment methodologies in endodontics. 

Dr. Peters has published in leading textbooks and peer-reviewed journals and lectured both nationally and internationally. She serves on the review panel of several endodontic journals, including the Journal of Endodontics and the International Endodontic Journal. Christine is a member of OKU, past president of the Northern California Academy of Endodontics and treasurer of the Australian Society of Endodontists Queensland Branch.
