ACCOMMODATION
WALDRONSMITH Management has arranged special rates at several hotels within walking distance of the Star, Broadbeach.
You are able to secure your accommodation by completing the accommodation section of the online registration form. A valid credit card number must be provided and will be passed on to the hotel to guarantee your booking. Your credit card will not be charged a deposit at the time of booking or in advance of arrival (unless stated in the terms and conditions for each hotel below). Your accommodation and incidental costs must be settled directly with the hotel on arrival or departure. Please note hotels may charge a surcharge on credit card payments.
Should you require dates outside of the main Conference dates, please note this in your booking and WALDRONSMITH Management will contact the hotel on your behalf and advise.
Please note that check in time is generally 1400 hours. If you require immediate access to your room prior to this time, it may be wise to pre-register for the evening before. If you are arriving after 1800 hours please note this accordingly.
The hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival and therefore any bookings made after Thursday 2 May 2024 will be subject to availability. Please note cancelled bookings or failure to arrive at the hotel on designated date of arrival (no show) will incur penalties. See cancellation details below for individual hotels before making your selection.
Any changes to your booking must be made via email to WALDRONSMITH Management – not directly with the hotel.

Superior Deluxe Room
Wednesday – Friday - $299 per room per night
Saturday - $359 per room per night.
Executive Deluxe Room - available on a request basis only
Wednesday – Friday - $404 per room per night
Saturday - $464 per room per night.
Corner Deluxe Room - available on a request basis only
Wednesday – Friday - $354 per room per night.
Saturday - $414 per room per night.
If you wish to prebook buffet breakfast at the Star to receive the discount rate, please note this in the special request section of the on-line form. Prepayment is not required.
Superior Deluxe Room - Freshly refurbished accommodation rooms featuring an integrated control system, luxurious bedding and amenities, in-room safe and an average of 32 square metres of space. Rooms are non-smoking.
Executive Deluxe Room - These rooms are situation on levels 18 and above and offer spectacular views across Broadbeach or the Gold Coast Hinterland. In addition, you receive access to the Executive Lounge from 1pm-7pm daily offering evening canapes and drinks from 5pm-7pm, breakfast in the Harvest Buffet Restaurant from 6.30am-10.30am and complimentary valet parking for one vehicle.
Corner Deluxe Room - Corner Deluxe Balcony Rooms are located on the corner of the hotel and offer your own private balcony to enjoy fresh air.
Terms and Conditions: The credit card provided will be charged one night's stay 30-days prior to arrival and the remaining balance is to be settled on check-in. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival or non-arrival at the hotel (no shows) will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the entire length of stay.
Dorsett Gold Coast

Dorsett Gold Coast is located on Broadbeach Island and offers
direct connectivity to The Star Gold Coast’s world-class meeting, entertainment and leisure
destination. The hotel is located 700m from Kurrawa Beach, a short walk to Pacific Fair
Shopping Centre, and 30-minutes from the Gold Coast Airport.
Rooms feature modern facilities including flat screen TV, ensuite bathrooms, and
complimentary wifi.
Terms and Conditions: Cancellations received within 30-7 days of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one night's accommodation rate. Cancellations received within 7 days of arrival or non-arrival at the hotel will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the entire length of stay.
Mantra Broadbeach on the Park
