To attend TTEC2010 please complete the online registration form. Each delegate is required to register individually. Please ensure you read the registration information carefully before registering.
Method Of Payment
Payment of fees must accompany all registration forms. All registrations must be paid in full prior to arriving at the Conference. Registrations will not be confirmed until full payment is received. Payment can be made by the following methods:
- Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express)
- Cheque made payable to Conexion Event Management
- International Bank Draft payable to Conexion Event Management
Payment must be in Australian Dollars, payable to an Australian bank and free from all charges.
Please note that debits to your credit card will appear on your statement as Conexion Event Management.
New Zealand GST Increase
As of the 1 October 2010 New Zealand’s GST is increasing from 12.5% to 15%. As the Trans-Tasman Endodontic Conference is being held in New Zealand the Conference is required to pay New Zealand GST. From 1 October 2010 all registration and accommodation fees will be increased by 2.5%.
Please note: Delegates who have registered for the Conference and not paid their fees by 1 October 2010 will be reissued with a tax invoice that reflects a 2.5% increase.
Cancellation Of Registration
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations received prior to 1 October 2010 will receive a full refund less AUD100 administration charge. Cancellations received on or after 1 October 2010 will not be refunded.
If you are unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge. Please provide details of the substitute in writing to the Conference Secretariat.

Deposits & Cancellations
All accommodation bookings must be accompanied with a deposit, equivalent of one night’s tariff. This deposit will be forwarded on your behalf by the Conference Secretariat to the relevant hotel and used to confirm your accommodation booking. No bookings will be confirmed by the Conference Secretariat until one night’s deposit has been received. Each delegate must settle the remainder of their accommodation upon check-out.
Any accommodation booking cancelled after the 1 October 2010 will be subject to a one night cancellation fee.
If you wish to book accommodation at the Holiday Inn, please note that any cancellations made within 7 days of your booking date will be charged at the full cost of the accommodation.

The Organising Committee has put together an exciting tour for accompanying persons. The tour will see accompanying persons travelling from the city centre to the beautiful gardens and historic homestead at Mona Vale, and treated to a tranquil punt ride through the Christchurch Botanic Gardens on an Edwardian punt.
The next stop is the Christchurch Gondola to top station where you will be amazed by the 360 degree views that unfold as the gondola lifts are over 500 metres above sea level. Take a stroll on the Port Hills and soak up the magnificent views, before visiting Lyttleton & Sumner, the seaside towns at the foot of the Port Hills.
The tour will then head back to the central city to ride on the beautifully restored Christchurch trams. The trams will take you too many points of interest in the city, including the Museum, Art Gallery and Art Centre, as well as Cathedral Square, the Casino and New Regent Street. You can jump on and off at any time and your tram pass will be valid for 2 days!

DAY ONE - Christchurch - Mount Cook - Queenstown
Travel south with Greatsights and then west across the Canterbury Plains to the foothills of the Southern Alps. At Lake Tekapo, the first of two glacial lakes we will see, time will be available to photograph the beautiful Church of the Good Shepherd overlooking the lake. After lunch (at own expense) at Mount Cook, take one of the many alpine walks in the area or to visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Centre.

DAY TWO - Full Day Excursion to Milford Sound
A coach journey to one of the world's greatest natural wonders- the Fiordland National Park - a world heritage area. A vast remote wilderness with snow capped mountains, glacial lakes and valleys, fiords, waterfalls and dense forests. Travel to Te Anau and on to the forested Eglinton Valley, through the Homer Tunnel and out into breath-taking Milford Sound. Enjoy a one and a half hour cruise of Milford Sound viewing the spectacular waterfalls and famous Mitre Peak.
An optional scenic flight, at own expense, may be taken for the return journey to Queenstown (request at time of booking).
DAY THREE - In Queenstown
A full day at leisure for you to enjoy this exciting year round holiday resort. There are many optional activities - jetboating, white water rafting, bungy jumping, lake cruise, wine tasting, golf, fishing, tramping and many more.
DAY FOUR - Queenstown - Christchurch
Depart Queenstown on the Newmans service via the stone fruit growing area of Cromwell, the town of Omarama famous for its gliding, Tekapo and the rural towns of Fairlie, Geraldine and Methven through to Christchurch where you arrive approx. 4.30pm.

Airport and Transport
Air
Christchurch International Airport is 15-20 minutes drive from Christchurch central city. There are several shuttle services between the central city and the Airport.
Bus
Although Christchurch is a pretty easy city to walk around, you may need to take a bus or two if you want to get across town or go to the train station, airport or hitchhiking spots. Christchurch's public transport system is surprisingly efficient and most services run every 10 to 15 minutes.
There is a free shuttle service that runs from the Town Hall, through Cathedral Square and down to the supermarkets on Colombo Street and Moorhouse Avenue.
Most fares in the central area are $2.80 and you can use your ticket to transfer to another service. The bus information centre in the Bus Exchange gives you timetables and route maps or you can get information online at www.metroinfo.org.nz
Tram
Christchurch also has a limited tram service website www.tram.co.nz which runs along a 2.5km loop past the main sights. It's a bit touristy and compared to the bus it is pretty expensive at $12.50 for a two-day pass.
Banking/Currency
New Zealand currency consists of coins of 10, 20 and 50 cent and one and two dollar denomination; and notes of five, 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollar denomination.
Foreign exchange facilities are available at banks, hotels and airports. All major credit cards including Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club are accepted at most restaurants and shops.
Climate and Clothing
The average temperature for November would be around, 11°C- 15°C. Ensure to take clothing for cold and hot weather.
New Zealanders are generally informal dressers.
Goods and Services Tax (GST) / Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS)
All goods and services are subject to a 12.5 percent Goods and Services Tax (GST) included in the displayed price. Visitors cannot claim this tax back, however when a supplier ships a major purchase to a visitor's home address the GST will not be charged.
Mobile Phones
Most service providers offer international roaming facilities in New Zealand. It is best to check before departure if your carrier offers this service and the associated costs. Vodaphone in New Zealand have shops at Auckland and Christchurch airports where you can rent a SIM card and/or mobile phone for the duration of your holiday.
Passport and Visa Important Information
Every visitor entering New Zealand must have and carry a valid passport, which has a validity of at least three months beyond the date you intend to depart New Zealand. All visitors to New Zealand must carry a passport that is valid for at least three months beyond the date you intend to leave the country. It must not be damaged, defaced or excessively worn. It must show a visa or permit if you are required to obtain one.

Quarantine
New Zealand is free from many plant and animal diseases prevalent in other countries. Very strict quarantine rules apply to the import of animals and plants, which cannot be brought into the country without prior application. Animal and plant products are also restricted.

Time
New Zealand is one of the first places in the world to see the new day,
12 hours ahead of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). In summer New Zealand
uses ‘daylight saving', with clocks put forward one hour to GMT+13.
Daylight saving begins on the last Sunday in September and ends on
the first Sunday of the following April, when clocks are put back
to GMT+12.
Tipping
Tipping in New Zealand is not obligatory - even in restaurants and bars.
However, tipping for good service or kindness is at the discretion of the
visitor. Hotels and restaurants in New Zealand do not add service charges
to their bills.
