Dr Asgeir Sigurdsson from University College London Eastman Dental Institute in London, England, UK
- Graduate Director of the University of North Carolina, USA Endodontic specialty program from 1997 to 2004.
- Adjunctive Associate Professor at University of North Carolina, USA
- Past President of the International Association of Dental Traumatology
- Writer and Co-writer of 12 chapters on endodontics, pain perception and dental trauma.
Dr Sigurdsson will be presenting the following lectures two at the Conference:
- An update on dental trauma: Emergency management and long term follow up
- Facial pain: Diagnosis and treatment

VENUE
The Conference will be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor. Hotel Grand Chancellor is conveniently located in the CBD, only 10 kilometres from the Christchurch International Airport. It is within strolling distance to key attractions including Cathedral Square, Arts Centre, Museum, Botanical Gardens, Avon River, Cafes, Bars and Restaurants. The Hotel is the tallest building in Christchurch, and with 26 floors all rooms are quiet and spacious with sweeping views over the city and Canterbury plains to the distant snow capped Southern Alps.
